Global Partnership on Forest Landscape Restoration
Website promoing the work of the Global Partnership on Forest Landscape Restoration (GPFLR), a proactive network that unites governments, organisations, communities and individuals. The partnership was initiated with the purpose of catalyzing and reinforcing a network of diverse examples of restoration of forests and degraded lands that deliver benefits to local communities and to nature, and fulfil international commitments on forests. CDI is faciliotating the GPFLR Learning Network.

Here you can find practical information on how to facilitate participatory learning processes with various stakeholders. It provides theoretical foundations, methods and tools to create learning processes, facilitation tips, examples, literature and links.
  Participatory Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PPM&E)
The Participatory Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (PPM&E) website brings together theories, methodologies and approaches of particpatory planning, monitoring and evaluation, with a focus on managing for learning and impact. The second part of this website provides a wide range of links to documents and websites which have been sorted in relation to a large number of subject areas.

 

Financing Sustainable Forest Management
Together with FAO’s national forest program facility, CDI developed a portal and module on “Financing Sustainable Forest Management”. The module was used in Suriname, Guatemala, El Salvador and Namibia to organise workshops with key stakeholders. These workshops were the start of national processes to define policies for diversifying the financing of forest management.

 

Rethinking agriculture
This website has been established to keep you informed about the theme 'Rethinking agriculture in development' . One of the activities was a stakeholder meeting on December 14th 2006, where preliminary results of the studies will be presented and discussed. This is however not a one-off occasion but one of a series of events to stimulate dialogue around the issue.

Webportal Navigating Complexity
The Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation has been organizing and hosting innovation dialogues in global development about the complexities of social, economic and political change. Discussion, dialogue and learning amongs scientists, practitioners and policy makers are key to these events. This portal reports on two events: The Navigating Complexity dialogue (2008) introducing core ideas of complexity thinking and he Strategy & Complexity dialogue (2009) focusing on the quest for being strategic in the face of complexity.

 

 

Change Alliance website
The Change Alliance is an emerging global network of organisations joining forces to increase the effectiveness of the multi-stakeholder processes with which they engage. Its aim is to help improve the quality of the design, dialogue, learning, and facilitation, on which these processes depend. 

 

 

Climate Change and Policymaking in Agriculture & Natural Resources Management - website
The purpose of this joined initiative is to enhance adaptation and mitigation strategies in developing countries. It will provide support and capacity building for the individuals and groups working on climate change and agriculture and natural resource management in developing countries.
