Financing Sustainable Forest Management Together with FAO’s national forest program facility, CDI developed a portal and module on “Financing Sustainable Forest Management”. The module was used in Suriname, Guatemala, El Salvador and Namibia to organise workshops with key stakeholders. These workshops were the start of national processes to define policies for diversifying the financing of forest management. |

One of the activities was a stakeholder meeting on December 14th 2006, where preliminary results of the studies will be presented and discussed. Webportal Navigating Complexity The Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation has been organizing and hosting innovation dialogues in global development about the complexities of social, economic and political change. Discussion, dialogue and learning amongs scientists, practitioners and policy makers are key to these events. This portal reports on two events: The Navigating Complexity dialogue (2008) introducing core ideas of complexity thinking and he Strategy & Complexity dialogue (2009) focusing on the quest for being strategic in the face of complexity.
