CDI organises its work around five programmes. These represent our own special blend of expertise within the Wageningen UR domain
Our work is divided over five programmes. Our core expertise is on Innovation and Change, and this is embedded in our four other programmes: Secure & Healthy Food, Sustainable Markets, Adaptive Agriculture and Ecosystems Governance. Each programme is represented by a team of experts, who combine their technical background with the services we provide. We match our skills to the requirements of clients and partners, putting together teams with an appropriate blend of technical, learning- and process-oriented qualities depending on the task at hand.
Through our focus on capacity development for fostering social learning and innovation we address major issues such as hunger, rural poverty, food security and climate change. Much of our work revolves around developing capacities for multi-stakeholder engagement, in which we seek a good balance between ‘process’ and ‘content’.
